Does anyone have any interesting methods for hanging car mats? I have a small garage and don`t have anyway to hang mats? Can anyone give me a good idea or tell me where and what type of clamps to buy and I will find a place.

If your shower curtain rod is strong enough you could hang them there. I have also used the hand rails on my stairs. My wife likes it when she sees our car mats hanging all over the house.
    Insert witty quip here...

In our auto reconditioning area, I went to Home D*&*t and bout 6 big, heavy spring clamps..I think they were about $3 each...and screwed them to a wall outside our wash bay. The guys scrub them down, then hang them from 2 clamps at a time, and rinse them with a hose....they drip dry pretty quickly.

My mats have holes cut in the top with a plastic `washer` to stop them sliding on the carpet when installed in the footwell, all I did was cut a clothes hanger up with a pair of pliers and bent the wire into an `S` shape then put the wire on the clothes line and through the holes and can now hang the mats out to dry.

This will only work if you have the retaining `holes.`

Call National Pride@ 1-800-537-6788 and order their mat clamps. The item # is 925ad and they are $5.95 each. I have 20 0f these and they are awesome. We just have them hanging on the walls of our shop.

Try to hang them straight. I noticed that when mine were folded over something they kind of kept that folded shape when they fully dried. Eventually the`y lay flat when placed in the car and stepped on a few times.
