    EUROTECH,

You should check out Meg`s #16 out for a topper on silver! It really leave a wet and reflective appearance. Here is a pic.

    Cheers,

    ~One man’s opinion / observations ~

I like Klasse or NXT on silver metallic (trying Wolfgang this week-end)

Durofoam Pads From Classic Motoring Accessories (These pads require a six-inch, Velcro Backing Plate

VP-6) a 6.5" Pad size with a 6" backing plate provides a 1/4" all round clearance. The oversized foam pad isolates the backing plate from contact with the car`s surface, so you can work without fear of damaging the finish with an exposed backing plate.

Colour Cutting Speed (OPM) Use For

    Action

    White Light 3.5 - 4.5 Polishing, Pre-Wax

Yellow Medium 4.0 - 5.5 Machine Polish, Compound, SMR

    Grey None 3.5 - 4.0 < Finishing, Final Buffing

Wool Levelling 5.9 – 6.0 Levelling or used under a bonnet

    ~Hope this helps~

I`d sure pick the 1Z polish, and I`d use their Metallic after the paint polish. Then apply UPP to the Metallic.

I wouldn`t top THAT combo, myself, but if you really want to, I too recommend Meg`s #16.

Can you go straight from 1Z MP to UPP?:nixweiss

Thought you need a base, e.g. UPC or AIO before applying UPP. Not sure though ... haven`t ever worked with UPP.
Interviewer: : Rock, you got anything derogatory to say about the champ?

Rocky Balboa: Derogatory? Yeah. He`s great
