I tried the WalMart towel today. Pretty good but I had better luck with my Waffle Weave drying towel from CMA. It was more "thirsty" in absorbing water.

Hey Marty Grant-
you in ABQ?
If so, which Wal-Mart did you find the big towel...the one near Cottonwood Mall didn`t have them Wed. (3/24)?

Howdie, domZ`sp5.
I`m in LC. Wal-Mart has it here, but I didn`t post anything about the big towel.
Any good detailing supply stores in the "Duke City"?:usa

When you find the good wash sponge, you let us know. I picked up a Viking (I think) chinille mitt on the way home last night. I`m not fond of mitts. I`m thinking of buying an econo-sponge and stuffing it inside there.
Actually, that`s not a bad idea.
Just left my local Walfart...after months of nothing worthwhile in the automotive dept...I just bought the new drying towel. They have all the new blackmagic supplies...even saw the sheepskin wash mit I bought 2 weeks ago......spring has finally sprung!!
I had planned to detail all day tomorrow...weather girl is now predicting rain..all day.....****sigh***:angry
Hey Marty_
Professional Paint Supply is the only one I have found in ABQ. They are off of I-25 at Jefferson exit.
They have all the Megs pro line stuff and lots of 3m goodies...
Other than Pep Boys, Checker and Auto Zone...that`s about it...

Friends,
Next time you need a bucket Target has a really cool one with a big handle and a straight side (70% is circular) which makes storing a real cinch.

I just bought the wheel brush from walmart today. It has a nice design, and overall I`m very pleased with it`s utility.
Used my Walmart drying towel for the first time this weekend. I was really pleased with the results. I`m going to pick up another one to use on the truck.
yup, I went back for 2 more of those big drying towels they are really nice for the price
