I am concerned that my original plans to use 8" pads on my PC may cause the bearrings to fail. Has anyone else used 8" pads on the pc? I guess I can take the pads back and exchange them for 6.5" but I like the idea of covering more surface area in less time!

Just be certain to center them perfectly.

The larger pads exagerate off center vibration. Duh.

Your PC is a workhorse, I use it 3-4 hours per day, everyday. Relax.

pwr4all3- Watch that the bigger pads don`t compromise the EFFECTIVENESS of the PC. Covering more area is one thing, but doing a good job is something else. *I* find that I seem to get slightly better results with 6.5" pads than I do with 7.5" ones. The PC is sorta easy to overwhelm anyhow (compared to, say, a Cyclo- notice how a PC will act differently when you bear down on it) and the larger pads seem to make it worse in this regard.
