Did this Civic (had a lot of scratches due to cardboard sheets placed on top of the car during the new year (to prevent firecrackers from popping on the car)...

Hit it with EO Compound then EO Cleaner Glaze then 2 coats of Soft99 Authentic.

Soft99 Authentic is very, very similar to S100 in terms of application, removal and texture... Final finish looks more like Meg 16 + S100 like... Doesn`t darken the paint (tints) like Meg 26 does... Dust attraction isn`t all that bad for a carnauba. Great stuff.

Thanks, It`s a 95 I believe... Should`ve taken "before" shots hehe... The paint was horrible due to the cardboards rubbing onto the paint.

    Another one of the Benz...

Nice job! So theveed, would you recommand this product if you`re comparing them to S100 or #26?? Do you think it`s worth the $$?? In Canada (don`t know about US) we can get those in car accessories stores which cost about the same as S100.

I wish my 123 was black sometimes...

Mine is plain white... boring hehe.

Here`s both of the blacks together before it was picked up an hour later (haven`t dressed the wheelwells yet...)

C-MDX: Worth it? Definitely, Soft99 Products are really good... Even here in Manila, they`re not that easy to grab. The Authentic was bought by my friend (the civic owner) when he went to Japan early this year. Cost wise, it`s about 20 USD a jar. Same size container as most Meg paste wax jars.

Holy schmolie, that black W123 looks amazing and the Lorinsers really update the look! That can`t possibly be original paint can it? I don`t think I`ve ever seen a W123 with paint as nice as that, NICE JOB!

    The Civic looks awesome too.:up

Nah, the W123 was repainted with PPG Jet Black around 4-5 years ago, I think... Not that good of a paint job but with high quality paint, you can get away with it. hehe.

Oh, the car is also lowered by 1.5" I think with Eibach springs.

Ah that makes sense. My dad used to have a W123 with single stage white, that thing was a bear to keep clean especially with the diesel soot that seemed to attached itself to the paint.

    Yours is Definitely a keeper.

Ya, mine is the usual single stage white quite hard to maintain actually... I really have to wash it often and use a paint cleaner often to keep it from staining, so far only Klasse and Zaino has provided me with a clean paint surface the longest, all of the waxes I`ve tried couldn`t keep the stains away long enough. I don`t have much problems with soot near my tail pipe, but I always get dirty water drips along the moldings and all the chrome trims after washing...

    Thanks Scott...
