When it comes to spending $$$ on detailing supplies, I`m certainly not timid, as I`ve purchased about every premium product excluding Zaino known to mankind (don`t ask me why no Z):nixweiss

But my biggest pet peeve is shipping costs. I`ve actually purchased a $12 bottle of polish and paid $8 for shipping ... that sucks!!!:angry

I`ve learned to buy in bulk whenever possible.

Any other tips regarding shipping cost?

Hold off untill you need other things before placing an order.

The hardest part for me is that i can never get everything i want from one place. If i could solve that i wouldn`t have much of a problem.

    Yeah, I`m the same way.

Are there still some online retailers who wave shipping on orders over $75?

The worst stores are the ones that base shipping upon the value of the order.

Shipping costs should be a function of weight and size. When a retailer bills "shipping and handling", related to price, they`re fluffing a profit center.

    NHBFAN,

http://www.properautocare.com/ right now has free shipping on everything

http://concoursdirect.com/ ship by weight of order by UPS standards

    http://www.detailersparadise.com/_Sy...Store/Dept.asp free shipping over $100

I was looking for products yesterday and this was active yesterday for these places. I do remember seeing on place that did offer free over $75 but I just got done looking everywhere I thought I checked through yesterday and cant locate the place.

I know what ya mean by shipping charges being a pain on small orders that charge by price. I ordered $38 from premiumautocare yesterday had to pay 6.95 and then ordered $39 from autopia store and had to spend another 6.90 for shipping.
