Looking for a sealant with good durability, depth and shine. Was gonna try the NXT but since I can`t find it locally, I got order some. I noticed the Platinum UPP was the same price and got about the same reviews as NXT. Just vote what would you reccomend(choose)...the NXT or UPP.

    Thanks!

O ya forget to ask about Platinum. A company bought it out called 4 Star(i`m guessing)??? The 4 Star UPP is the one i have access to, not the Platnium one, if that makes any difference :nixweiss

Both are essentially last-step-products. Get them both and decide which one you like best or which layering give you the look you want -- UPP over NXT or NXT over UPP.

Platinum was not bought out. Dwayne just had a copyright issue, so now he is using his own label from premiumautocare. It`s all documented on Detail City. If you want to try UPP, make sure you join up at Detail City to get a member discount!:up

Why buy, in essence, the same exact product? Buy some QD or towels for the money. No sense IMO to buy very very similar products just to play with which one looks miniscually better on top of each other. Topper combinations are way overrated!

I`m just asking what YOU would buy. I wanna see the responses to the two products. Lets "imagine" your at the store and u see NXT and UPP next to each other on the shelf. Which 1 would u buy, granted your only going to get one?

From the small tests my friend and I have been running, I would go with either one. The UPP seems a tad clearer, and the NXT seems to darken better. This might give the NXT a slight edge on darker colors, and the UPP a slight edge on lighter, or metallic colors.

Of course, the verdict is still out on the NXT durability.

UPP, because I already have the NXT. If I didn`t have either, it`d be a tough choice, but prolly the NXT first. Not for any reason, just because I`m comfortable with Meguiar`s products.

i will agree with White_F150 that NXT a slight edge on darker colors, and the UPP a slight edge on lighter, or metallic colors.

NXT because the wait before buffing is less. Other than that, I like both products very much.

PUPP if you prefer durability & layerability.

NXT if you prefer ease of use.

    Both shine very well.

I just bought NXT, mainly because I got it half off due to some kind of stocking error lol but want to try UPP.

If I hate NXT when I try it today or tomorrow you can have it for $6 (what I paid) we`ll just keep the chain of cheap products going
