Finally had a day without rain ( well at the time ) and a good forecast, so it was time to get out all the new Clearkote goodies and give the car a good detail.

Lets cut back six months back when I was in the dark, I bough a Meguiars Cordless Orbital Buffer at £100 ( :nixweiss ).

Came to use it today and after both battery cells were fully charged up, the damn thing goes flat after only doing the roof and bonnet on the car . Same happend with the second cell. There quoted as having 1.5hr of use each, so Im not a happy bunny.

And to cap it all off, it rained :angry , got everything done but couldnt get any decent after pics

Time to get a PC I think!

I had exactly the same problem with the cordless DA. Charged it 4 or 5 times and then gave up and returned it. Replaced with a PC and never looked back!

Don`t mean to pile more misery on you, but... I just recently taken delivery of my PC along with the 5" flexi backing plate and it all came to just £109 GBP. Transformer and pads on top of that admittedly.

Makes that Megs Cordless Buffer purchase look even more bad doesn`t it!

Go on... take the plunge! You know you want to!

See if you can return it..... You never know. Meg`s are quite good about stuff being returned. The time factor may be an issue but it doesn`t hurt to ask if it hasn`t been used, and your not happy with it.

I emailed Megs ( dont u find that a bit hard to abreviate, seeing as there already is a Meg`s in the detailing world? ) about the whole thing, seeing as this would be the second return. First time the thing didnt even work at all!
