I finally got my wallet out and have ordered the following:

    PC from Coastal

"Best Pad" set from CMA (2 orange and one white finishing pad)

    2 Big Blues

    2 Extra finishing pads

    DACP

    NXT Tech Wax

I currently have some #9 SMR and PwC as products that might follow the DACP.

Question is, should there be anything else I will want to make the conversion from hand application (pads, polish). I`m already wondering if I shouldn`t have gone ahead with the Menzerna IP and FP as I understand they follow DACP nicely. According to others on here, the orange pad works okay but a yellow might do a better job with the DACP. Tell me my regrets ahead of time so this weekend won`t be a sad one (supposed to be 45-50 and sunny here).

    masking tape

black finishing pads (for applying wax)

I think those white pads you have listed are usually polishing pads, not used for applying product

If you completely break down the DACP, you can follow up with the FP. Get about a dozen MF towels for finish removal. Some will be in the wash, so you will always have some available whenever you get the urge....

I am not a fan of CMA`s orange pads...I like their grey/white/ and yellow, but the orange did not last long for me.

CMA calls these "finishing pads" for sealants and waxes. I almost feel like going back and doing this by hand, not unlike the first people to use computers and finding them "more complicated" than typewriters.

This is in my arsensal right now:

    #9, #20, #26

EX, PwC, S100, (soon to be) DACP, NXT

Tons of MF`s and auxillary cleaners.

In a perfect world, aside from the IP and FP (that I was able to tack onto my order just in time), what would you feel naked without?
