    Quote: Pc pad lubricant

    ~One man’s opinion /observations~

Most QDs are mostly water, but the little wax that’s in them makes an ideal lubricant for pads or clay.

More expensive than water but each to his own

    ~Hope this helps~

If I remember Geekysteve`s writing correctly, water does not really lubricate or reduce product strength, but actually does the opposite and makes the product stronger.

If I wanted to lubricate a PC pad I would use QD because it is inherently slippery and is designed for that purpose.

Yeah, my feelings exactly. Water DOES make many abrasive products more aggressive. I use it (intentionally) for that purpose and it can really make a difference.
