Show me a picture of a black car that doesn`t reflect while sitting in the shade. I`m not sure why the belief that the door of a black car in the garage reflecting the brightly lit tree in the front yard is so impressive. I`d like to see a picture of a car that doesn`t reflect as well under similar conditions. My belief is that where there is black paint... there are reflections.

Those shots can show off a stellar paint job that has no orange peel.



I`d agree though, that even in the case of horrific paint conditions, black still has some reflective properties.

I agree that I think this is true as long as the paint is clean, unoxidized, and the orange peel isn`t glaringly horrible. They always seem to reflect well in the shade.
