Well what can I say.......I ordered my PC from here New Years Eve while the SAVEBIG sale was still on. Once the shipping cost was sorted, I chose USPS surface mail with expected delivery 4-6 weeks, it was sent on 07-01-04.........and it arrived today



USPS must be using speedboats now :p



Now then, who knows the US wiring code for when I chop the plug off

If I remember rightly US colour codes are:-

Black - LIVE

White - NEUTRAL

Green - EARTH.



I didn`t have to take my plug off, but you should have just the black & white.



Before you kill yourself (I want my QEW!), maybe one of our

buddies across the pond can confirm this is correct.

Black = live sounds right BUT I will double check on Tuesday night. The PC does not have a earth cable. No point risking a new PC for my failing memory.

There`s no rush, I wasn`t even expecting to have it yet.

Damn, I spent (many) hours searching through technical specs looking the that simple bit of information. I wish I had seen that site sooner

On the plus side, the results with a PC are well worth the wait and hassle. Dont forget to run the extension from the transformer to the PC and not from the mains to the transformer. Extension cables are cheap so not a problem.
