Yeah, I know its a no brainer. However, we have been hit with a pretty nice cold snap here on the East Coast. I usually carry a bottle of QD and some MF towels in a little tote in my daily driver.

Sure enough, sitting here on Autopia I remember that I left them in the truck and went outside to find the QD frozen solid

Oh well...Just a friendly reminder if you haven`t already brought your stuff in .....

Do you know of a QD that can resist freezing so that we could keep a bottle in the car all the time? I always carry one around too but of course when it`s cold, I can`t.

Would cleaner or chemicals apply such as

APC, Citri-Gel, Interior Cleaner or even QD apply ? I`ve got gallon sized bottles of this stuff in my unheated garage.

It get REAL cold but not to the point of freezing temperature.

I`ve got all my waxes and polishes indoors all the time however.

Any time the overnight temperatures are lower than 28, I bring in all my detailing products inside. When the temps are above 28, the residual heat from the daytime is enough to keep products from freezing.

I don`t leave anything out in the garage over the winter. It easily gets below freezing in the garage for quite a few nights here in NH during the winter. I have a cabinet with doors (plastic, made by Workforce) that is easy to dissassemble and move into the house before winter and then back outside for spring. It takes some time to get everything out of it and put back in again, but it`s worth it. The downstairs of our garage is not insulated, so low temps aren`t uncommon. I was out spraying down the windows on the Taurus this afternoon with some Stoner`s - I sprayed the entire rear window, wiped down one side, moved across the car to the next side and was wiping off chunks that had frozen. The wireless thermometer shows the downstairs garage hitting a high of 22 degrees today.
