How do you guyz clean your tires when doing a QEW ?

My car went about 2 and 1/2 weeks since I did a regular wash, had it`s tires cleaned and dressed. Had some mild film along the sides from on and off rain. The hood, roof and trunk lid were not as bad so I did a QEW wash last night, 2 bucket method and chenille mitt.

When I do a regular wash, I hose down the tires, spray them with some EF HI cleaner and scrub them with a stiff bristle brush and then hose them down. I`ve been using EO Wet Tire with decent results as of late. I spray a couple of squirts on a tire swipe and apply. Dressing for me usually lasts about 2 weeks.

    Any tips ?

I just use a tire/wheel brush and the QEW. Works just fine. On coated wheels like yours, QEW is about as safe a cleaner as you can get.

    Thanx Scottwax !

QEW/water mix has worked really well on my wheels.

So for tires, I guess you just spray the tire with QEW/water mix and scrub away and then rinse ?

FWIW, QEW and water work fine to clean my tires---but my tires don`t ever get really dirty because my car doesn`t get driven a whole lot. :nixweiss

No, I just dip the wheel brush into the bucket with QEW, clean the wheel and then wipe dry.
