I should have done it earlier...but my wheels just arrived today.

I`m putting on my new winter wheels with the Blizzaks.

The brake pads on my X5 just love keeping me ontop of my weekly wheel cleanings. Bearing that it`s winter, I`m sure I won`t be touching the wheels until early/late Feb.

Will it be benficial to use Klasse SG or the like on the wheels. I`m thinking all the salt water will just eat the Klasse away anyhow.

    Yay or nay ....

Make sure you use AIO first or similar, then SG. I have my Klasse Twins coming today from UPS! I know what I`m doing to my wheels this weekend!

i put 5 layers of sg on my rims a week ago, and so far there has been little brake dust on it. When there is brake dust on it, cleaning it is so easy.

Yeah I did the same and had the same results. Its great and I will never use anything else ever again on my wheels. This is my first winter using Klasse but I`m almost positive its one of the, if not the strongest sealant/protectant. I think your in good hands with Klasse. :up

Treating your rims is a grea idea. If you have any Collinite lying around, it`s nice to use as well. Easy on, easy off and stands up to the heat generated.

How do you apply AIO to wheels? Wipe on wipe off with a foam app? What about those little nooks and crannies, like the BMW M Wheels, they are such a pita to clean in the 1st place

I did a few coats of SG over AIO on my new winter wheels, they are staying cleaner than the previous wheels. I will know more in feb.... BMW`s are a pita
