I am new to this forum, but need some help. What is best to use to polish and wax a fiberglass motorhome? Seems to be a lot of people telling me to use boat polish and wax, but thought I would go to the experts. Thanks,

Most of the same stuff used on painted steel will work fine on fiberglass. If you want to stick to a brand that makes products specifically for motorhomes and the like, have a look at Protect All. http://www.protectall.com/rvs.shtml
There are only three things you need to know about me. Gloss, Gloss, GLOSS!!
Thanks, on my way to the site.
If we are talking about a gel coat on the fibreglass then they were right to point you at boat products. Gel coat is a lot tougher than paint and you will need some quite aggresive products if you need to correct defects or remove oxidisation.Originally posted by Roger A

Once you have the surface polished then your favourite wax will be fine

I recently cleaned and waxed the hull and transom of a 17 ft Boston Whaler Tri-hull with some Meg`s Marine Cleaner/Wax (don`t remember the number, but it was a blue bottle-may be number 50 or something?). I finished it off with some # 26. It looks great, even aftera few multi-hour trips. The Meg`s cleaner/wax did a good job of taking out the moderate stains on the hull, and removed everything but a trace of some transom stains. I did it by hand, though I`m sure you could use the PC and get it done easier.
