Would the Meg`s Soft Wash Gel or the Deep Crystal be good to use after using Klasse? I know these worked well with my cars before, but I used a carnuba wax then. Thanks! :nixweiss

I would actually prefer to use a non-carnuba wax with Klasse.

I used the huge pink bottle, I barely use any shampoo when I clean my car (one ounce for 5 gallons) so I doubt it matters what I use. That stuff is inexpensive, last forever and I don`t feel like I`m using something expensive when I wash other peoples car.

It will work fine over the Klasse. However, I would use something with a little more lubrication to help avoid marring to the SG... IMO... I used the huge 3.99 gallon-o-pink-stuff also, but now I have retired it. I can use tons of it and not have any suds, but other washes are fine for me. (ANTI-FLAME DISCLAIMER: I know suds are not a sign of product quality and lubricity, but there is very little lube also). I now have SONAX and Z7. They are great wash products!:xyxthumbs

I like Megs Gold Class. I use it for regular washing. If I put on a layer of Zaino, I`ll use Z7 though.

Cost ? I get the "Are you kidding me" size jugs at Target for like $10.

I looked at Gold Class too.. in CanaDUH a small bottle requires leaving your first born as collateral.. very $$$$$$ Mind you up here they all are. I usually go to Wash. State and buy the Blue Coral or Turtlewax gallons for $4 ( A gallon of anything up here is $14 to $20 ) I also get to have lunch and a good beer.. :usa

LoL I alos get the "are you kidding me" gallon size Gold Class jugs too and then move it to a smaller dispenser. Sonax gets my thumbs up GC actually feels smoother & silkier IMO compared to Sonax. GC tickles my noze and sometimes gives me sneeze attacks

I really like Megs Gold Class but it costs $10.00 CDN for a 16 oz bottle if I buy it local. I drive over the border to Niagara Falls Ny and buy it by the gallon for$9.00 US at Target.

I think the GC shares the same fragrance as Lever 2000 body was as I recall.

Is it the slickest car wash you`ve used? I like it, just wondering if anything is even slicker, really want to minimize chance of micro marring black finsih when washing. Thanks.

Bill have you used a sheepskin mitt? once its used a few times and broken in it is really slick feeling no matter what soap used,.. Hard to describe the slickness outside of "erotic". Like my grandpa used to say "Slipperyier then snot on a marble". I don`t think a good sheepskin mitt could micromar.. they seem to lift the dirt away from the paint.

    Hey,

I try to stick with Meguiar`s #62 Professional Carwash and Conditioner, which I feel is a step above their #00 and Gold Glass in that order.

I mainly use the #00 for lube when wet sanding. Gold Class is not that expensive in Canada, though the #62 is quite a bit more costly but worth every penny!

    Tim
