    and use my black and decker buffer to apply and take off my polish and wax do I use foam pads to put it on and take it off? Or maybe just use it to put on but take off by hand.

    IMO, If you are going to use the buffer, only use if for application. I have never seen an instance where removal with a buffer saved much time over doing it by hand...plus I don`t think the results are as good as could be achieved by hand.
