I posted this in the main forum but didn`t have much luck hoping the audience here can offer some answers or opinions.

This weekend I started out to compound my 2000 accord. I was using Menzerna`s powergloss as the intesive polish wasn`t quite enough. I will review that product in the review section as my results were interesting. At anyrate I started out by dawn washing followed by claying and did the entire car. Then moved on to the powergloss using a PC with an orange pad at first ( I didn`t like the organge pad at all kept caking up and was hard to move around) then switched over to a yellow pad. Then moved on to the final polish but was only able to do the top of the car. I ran out of time and couldn`t finish . My question is next weekend I have to finsh this up. I want to use BF PP so I am skeptical about washing it with regular soap. Would another dawn wash be the bext thing here? or would it pull up the Final polish? I think menzerna is a true polish without fillers of any type but not sure.

Whats best to do in this situation?

Also would there be any benefit of following up the final polish with the Black Fire polish or is that redundant?

    thanks

I guess that I am confused by your procedure and your question. If you are using Blackfire polish , you should top it with the Blackfire sealant.

    This made me dizzy.

Why are you `compounding` a 3 year old car?

I guess my real question is this.

If I use Menzernas final polish is there any advantage to going over the car with the BF polish before I seal it with the paint protection?

    thanks

Now I understand. But I don`t have the knowledge to give you a "for sure" answer. I guess I would go back to my original statement about staying in the same product line for polish and sealant. Yes, I would use the Blackfire polish before applying the Blackfire sealant. Why not call the folks at CMA? They know Blackfire; it`s their product. By the way, I like Blackfire a lot.
