I read somewhere on here or on some other forums that any fine grit compound/polish without any oils or filler, would be good to polish glass, what do you think ? Does glass polishing require any special pad ? Does it have to be done with a rotaty or would a DA do the job also ? I have both at worst.

    thank you :wavey

Are there any particular problems with your windows? Or is this just trying to get them as good looking, reflective as possible?

I use whatever polish or sealer I`m using and use whatever method I`m using on the paint. I`ve used EX with a rotary on the windows and EX with a PC and by hand. Whatever I`m using goes on the windows.

When I got the truck new it had some serious stuff on the back window that took a mouse sander with steel wool and the strongest stuff the local glass shop had and used in their shop to get the stuff off. Even with that sander and polish it took several tries and lots of pressure......pressure to the point of sore arms and having to leave it and pursue it at another time.
Dream big and be willing to do the work to get there.
