Fighting the Trees

I waxed my black car with blackfire topped with sourveran wax. I parked it under some trees and a few days later is was covered in sap all over it.

Do you guys know of any products that might keep sap from sticking quite so easily?

Due to logistics and space of the driveway I have to park several cars under trees

I feel your pain. My wife`s black mustang seems to attract pollen unless it is parked in the garage. I also use Black Fire for her car. She really loves it.

The only thing I do for her car, that seems to help, is run a california duster and then wipe it down with SW/QS daily. This seems to keep the paint smooth and glossy....Andrew

Just wash it and hopefully it will come off. I left sap on my paint for 2 days and it came off easy with a sheepskin mitt with 0 pressure.

Boy do I know what you mean! Here we have a so many trees!

All I see is a green haze from all the pollen.

As for sap, I use a petroleum jelly and it`s gone!

For the pollen, I wash it off, as QD would be just moving it and adding scratches. Way to much pollen here! That`s why I now have it in the garage, otherwise I`d put my car cover on it.

Well it washes off thats not the big deal. I guess I am wondering if some waxes or sealants are better than others as far as sap not being able to adhere as easily

In this particular case its a dogwood...very pretty tree but seems to love to drop sap on the car. I think it gives it a purpose in life to try to destroy car paint.

I have the same problem...I`m thinking CHAIN SAW!! :grrr

Sorry if it sounds like I`m beating the Zaino drum ... but .... on my Zaino car, I notice huge globs of sap, I grab the Zaino QD or Poorboys S&W, plus a MF, and poof! Sap gone. No big deal. (Ditto for bird bombs too.) It`s gotta be the Zaino polymer that`s providing the protection.
