Is there anything I can do to mask, or even remove chips in my paint from rocks? I seem to be accumulating a lot of them and now my rocker panel area is dotted with white chips. (doesn`t help that my big tires spit up a lot of rocks). Any ideas? or will I have to get it re-painted?

If it`s a chip all the way down to the primer, there`s really nothing you can do from a detailing standpoint...I always get a small bottle of color-matched paint from the dealer and carry it in my glove box. Then when I notice new rock chips, I make a mental note to get to them at the next detail. There is a good thread floating around about touch up paint "tactics", but I can`t remember the name of the thread...check it out in the "search".

EDIT: Oh, and by the way.....:welcome

    Thanks!

Yeah I didn`t really think there was much I could do about it, but I thought I`d ask anyways. I do have a paint pen from Toyota with paint matched exactly to my paint code as well as clear coat on the other side. I`m useless with it though and I end up making it look worse, so I wipe it back off. Maybe I just need to learn how to use that properly.

Wish I could find that thread about the paint touch-up....I`ll have to keep looking. The only big strategy with it is time and patience...lots of both. When I find it I`ll post a link.
