IF YOU WERE DOING A CAR FOR A SHOW WOULD YOU USE ONE GRAND HAND GLAZE OR PINNACLE CLEANSING LOTION OR A MEGUIARS POLISH/GLAZE? FOR A DEEP WET LOOK HI JETTING EFFECT

    WHATS YOUR TOPPER OF CHOICE?

It depends on the color of the car. I know that for white I used Platinum topped with P21S and Vintage. That worked for me. On a red car I would probably use whatever sealant and then top with Souveran. It truely does look better on red than P21S does. On black I don`t think it matters much. It looks good no matter what you use on it. On the colors in between it would still vary depending on the color.

A glaze is a surefire way to get a wet glowing look. The amount of oils in a glaze will hid a whole lot of imperfections and leave you with a great looking, if not temporary, shine. Since prepping for a show is so much work anyway, i would rather use products that will last a little longer and look just as good. If it was a garage queen kind of show car then something tempoary wouldn`t matter as much. Its a tough question to answer without knowing more about the car you are thinking about.

If I was doing a car for a show, I`d use Meguiar`s #7, and NOTHING over top of that. Your cars will look like liquid glass for a few days.

Follow the Meg`s rules; apply, work it deep into the paint, allow to haze, remove with a clean 100% terry towel, finish with a microfiber or buffing towel, like an Autopia or a Koala.

THis is NOT a prescription for real-world use, only for a show.

OG Omega Glaze for the darker cars and P21S GEPC for the lighter metallic colored cars.

So long as the finish is steller, and old trick is Pledge! Laugh if you must, but the oils in it made any car look wet as snot! Don`t go driving with it on or you`ll be sorry!

Yes, #7 is a show car glaze and looks very nice. Add this and a high content oil wax, such as Zymol Japon/Carbon etc is another good trick.

I love Souveran on darker colors. Very deep shine.

Zaino show car polish can produce a nice wet look, see my Lexus SC430 in my sig below.
