I have brushed aluminum trim in my car and came up with this method for cleaning.

Here it is in my car....

The problem with the trim is that a. It is very soft, b. if not careful you can mark it up, c. if you rub to hard you can create bright, hot spots in it. Here is what I do....

1. Get a bottle of Eagle A2Z wheel and tire cleaner

2. Spray a very small amount on a corner of a MF towel

3. Rub area to be cleaned very gently

4. Soak another mf towel with distilled water

5. Use the water towel to rinse off the A2Z

6. Dry with MF

7. Enjoy your sparkling clean Alum trim
