I am still in the process of deciding what power tools to buy. Can you use DA/RO sanders or rotaries for wetsanding?

I`m assuming the answer is no, but...

    Thanks

OK - but I have more drastic work in mind, like taking paintwork back to bare metal, and then sanding as the paint goes back on.

One day I expect to run a compressor for a paint gun and a DA sander for this sort of thing, but then again I don`t really want to double up on tools more than I have to.

I expect to get something like a PC in the near future, and I don`t want to take a whole car down to bare metal and then do all the wet sanding by hand when the PC could be doing it for me.
