I just got a car care magazine and these were all offered in the $15 to $25 range. I`ve heard them all mentioned on here, but which one is really the best:

    Easy on/Easy off

    Deep wet look

    Long lasting

Wow, if they`re offering Pinnacle Souveran paste for $25, buy it all. Retail on that`s $70 for 8oz., best price I`ve ever seen is aroud $50.

I`m not as experienced as most here, but if you are price independent, I`d bet the results would be less evenly divided. Based on the opinions I`ve read here, P21S is better than Souveran mostly because it`s WAY cheaper, and almost as good, making it a far better value.

Yeah I think you have too many apples, oranges, peaches, mangos, etc. in that mix..... Some of them aren`t really comparable (not same category), and some have hugely different price points. Best thing to do is to search for opinions of each and hope somebody makes a comparison to something else. A lot of personal preference also comes into play and every product has its pluses and minuses.

I would probably buy the one for japanese cars, because that is what I have. For the purposes of this pole, I`m just pointing out normal every day waxes you can buy (mostly) at an autoparts store.

Yeah, I kinda thought that when I put this together. I`m trying to find a good wax that meets my criteria. I`m surprised more people don`t like Platinum Premium Paint Protection...from what I read it looks like the best blend of Carnuba and Synthetic.

I have both the paste and the liquid; as a matter of fact, I just got done pasting the Miata.

I don`t know that I`ll ever use the liquid again, I`m going to take it to my club`s "Shine & Dine" next week & use it on everyone else`s cars.

    Mosca,

Could you comment on why you don`t like the liquid version of Pinnacle Souveran?

2002 Maxima SE, From my understanding Platinum is not a blend of Carnuba and Synthetic. It is a synthetic that, as their website says "that shines and shimmers like the finest of carnauba based waxes while having the durabilty of a polymer sealant." And personally I love PUPP! It gives my truck a beautiful shine.

I thought the Platinum would have won hands down...Ive never used Pinnacle, never needed to, was always satisfied with Plat or Bf.....And an occasional S100 topper....!

What I can`t figure out is why UPP is even on the list. Its not a wax. UPP should be on a list with Zaino and Klasse and Blackfire. Not with carnaubas. UPP would win this contest hands down for the durability, value for applications per bottle, and protection.

I probably should have labeled this as "Whats the best final step wax/sealer?"
