Brian just keep your car looking perfect at all times, when you park at work make sure you park back end first and have pride in your committment to making your car sparkle. Sounds like wax envy to me. When they are busting on you next time find an attractive women at work and ask which car she would want to be picked up in yours or one of theirs.

I work with all guys and they pick on me so bad. Sometimes it`s so unrelenting, that it starts to become bothersome.

My boss says that I would travel to the end of the earth and climb the highest mountain to extract juices from a mountain goat`s spleen if it was shown that it provides extreme shine on car paint.

You really have to be here to see what I go through. If we go out for drinks after work; FORGET ABOUT IT - they really rib me!

Hang in there Brian. I finally got revenge on my coworkers that kept making remarks about my car. Manager walked out one day and made the comment "Wow, someone that pays that much attention to detail with their car I`d like working for me!" He didn`t know it was my car at the time, I made sure he did later. Noticed in the next week or so there were some cars that were a LOT cleaner then before......

yeah, my friends think I`m nuts washing my car every 1 to 2 weeks. I`ve always wanted to take their black car into a garage and blast a work light on it . Maybe then they would understand, haha.

Envy is disgused by the weak ego and made to look like something else....like contempt or condescension but it`s still envy.
Dream big and be willing to do the work to get there.

I go though something like that to at work and at home. My truck is cover when at work and sleeps in a garage at night.

So I heard this all the time "It must be a Ferrari Truck" I guess you are only allow to cover exotic cars.

Or here is another one I heard alot when I am working on it in the garage "You are going to polish the paint off". :nixweiss

Guess what, they all come to me when they want there car to look somewhat close to my truck!!!!!!

Defiantly "Sounds like wax envy to me"

Its the same with anything else in life - people dont feel comfortable when they cannot comprehend something. Dismissing it is a way for these people to cope.

None of my friends really hassle me about it tbh.

Anyone that does, isnt my friend

just a thought, why inform your co-workers of your MF purchase? They aren`t autopians and thus are unlikely to care. Just to rib. So why bother?

Well that`s kind of difficult when you have a couple huge orders come full of all sorts of supplies. I have it delivered to work so I can sign for the package since I`m not at home when UPS comes.

The guys do it to bust b*lls, not to be mean. It`s all in good fun.
