I searched but couldn`t find anything so here goes..
I`m detailing my engine compartment this summer and am shining up the metal parts like a/c hoses and such. Its enough to keep up with all the dust and dirt that accumulates. Don`t want to spend even more time repolishing the metal parts again and again.
Once the metal parts are shiny I want to use a clear spray paint over them to lock in the shine. Is this a good idea? Will polishes leave a residue that reacts with the clear coat?
Thanks, Jason
