While shopping at a local auto parts store today I picked up a few pads for polishing, waxing and etc. They were having a sale on the two packs of Meguiars yellow pads. I picked up three packs and also while there half a dozen of the terry cloth pads.

Now would like to know which products work best with each type of pad.

Somewhere I remember it said to use the yellow foam pads for wax. Can someone help? Thanks

For the most part foam and cotton pads are interchangeable. It usually boils down to a personal preference.

Only product I can think of that benefits from a specific pad is Zaino, where Sal recommends using a cotton terry app.
There are only three things you need to know about me. Gloss, Gloss, GLOSS!!

They both do pretty much the same thing. I find I like the terry pads for applying Zaino better, but had no problems with foam pads. Try them both and use whichever one you like best.
