I would assume not, but just asking to be sure. And what about a glaze after SMR? Isn`t the SMR similar to a glaze also?

Also, since most paint cleaners have some abrasives in them, doesn`t it kind of do the same thing as a swirl mark remover?

And finally, how often can one use a paint cleanser like say HD-Cleanse or P21s cleansing lotion safely?

    Thanks.

If you`re going to use carnauba wax I would definetely use P21S GEPC after SMR. It has oils and fillers in it that will enhance the shine.

Paint cleansers like P21S GEPC are not abrasive enough to remove serious swirls but will help with marring and oxidation.

I found P21S to be mild but I wouldn`t use it prior to every waxing. I don`t see reason to do it more than 3-4 times a year.

Thanks for the reply, you pretty much answered all my questions.

I usually don`t wax but once every two - three months, and when I do that most of the time I do a cleaning and a wax. I find the shine holds up fine for 2-3 months if I apply Mothers Showtime after every wash.
