I was putting new carpet in my truck when I got some of the glue on the carpet by accdident! It`s 3M All Purpose Adhesive from Home Depot. I need a way to get it out and not bleach the carpet.

P.S. Pics of new seat covers and carpet to come.

Try to E-mail 3m and ask them what to use to break down their adhesive if it is on carpet. They will know what breaks down their glue.

You can try an All Purpose Cleaner on the glue but that might not work. You`ll probably need a solvent for it like Mineral Spirits. I`m not sure if Mineral Spirits will bleach or damage carpet though. I have Pro`s PRO-Sol that I use to get certain things off carpet. It isn`t something I like using on carpets though. I try not to use too much and then scrub the area really well afterward with my carpet cleaner.
