After Geeky ( very reliable source) wrote his review about the Abay MF`s for $2.75 I bit the bullet ( shipping charge was rather steep for such a small order) and purchased 5 16 x 16. I was not expecting more than a good quality MF towels that I could use for things like jams, glass and interior detailing. These towels are Excellent! They are plush, no tags, well constructed borders, not full of microfiber lint ( actually tested prior to washing as a QD towel - did an excellent job) and soft. I have not washed these towels yet (next load probably end of next week) but I forsee no problems.

Now they are only $2.25 with better shipping charges for us hobbists which makes the deal even more tempting. I e-mailed Wayne about these changes and he said he would add two extra towels to may next order. Very nice gesture on his part. I highly recommend anyone who is looking to expand their MF inventory or even to try MF`s for the first time to give them a shot. There are plusher towels out there but I must emphasize that these are very good towels. Check them out at Abay :xyxthumbs

thank you for the good word!

    i would like to add...,

i ship within 24 hours of recieving payment.

i noticed several other people are selling towels and have recieved complaints from the buyers that they have still not recieved their orders.

just curious..., how lond did it take for you to recieve your order?

one thing i hate, when i place an order and it takes weeks to arrive. usually by the time i place an order, i need the product "yesterday"

just wanted to let EVERYONE know..., if you place an order...

    I SHIP FAST

    Hello Wayne,

Just for curiosity sakes, how many micro fiber towels did you "accidentally" order?

well, let me put it this way...

i thought i was ordering "each"

instead i ordered "case, not each"

i wanted 100 towels(50 of each size, my wife and i use them for everything from detailing the cars, cleaning shower, kitchen, tools, knives, guns, etc, so we use a lot of them

    however, NOT THIS MANY...

GUESS WHAT WAS IN THE DRIVEWAY WHEN I GOT HOME!!!

    :shocked

needless to say i "deleated" the bookmark from where i purchased them from(they would not let me return them and i did not feel like arguing after 15 minutes of "explaining". i do not think i will ever need to order any more since i obviously have a "lifetime" supply(maybe an eternal lifetime supply from the looks of it):nixweiss

it`s no big deal, i will just keep several hundred and sell the rest and try to break even.

i have not sold many yet. (about 6-7 people so far). i am "looking" for boxes to ship them in. i bought some large envelopes today for small orders and maybe tomorrow i will go to the grocery store, dollar store, etc to see if they have any small boxes i could get to ship larger quantity`s just in case someone wanted 25 towels or more. i priced boxes to ship them in and they are EXPENSIVE(considering what they are). now i know why some company`s charge so much for shipping. you have to buy tape, envelopes, boxes, time to go to UPS or USPS, time to pack, time to label the package, etc, etc. even though i only shipped out about 6-7 orders, it is AMAZING how much time it took me! i don`t know how companies do it with some shipping 1,000`s of packages a day.

i guess they know what they are doing

sorry for "rambling on", guess i am just overwhelmed looking over my shoulder at the boxes, LOL!

    Hi Wayne,

Thank you for sharing your experience. Sorry that happened to you. However, I might have some good news for you regarding shipping. If you do ship your order out via USPS Priority Mail, you can obtain FREE boxes, address labels, and tape, etc. from USPS. You can order the supplies through www.usps.com. Go to "Buy Stamps & More" and then to "Order Shipping Supplies".

To get bigger boxes, choose "Business Products". The boxes I most frequently use are Priority Mail #1092, #1095, #1097, and #07 (12" x 12"). Their #07 box should easily fit 25 - 16" x 16" micro fiber towels.

Again, this only applies if you send your orders out USPS Priority Mail, Express Mail, and Global Priority Mail. They have all the shipping supplies for these shipping methods. Most times, the free shipping supplies order from USPS takes about 3-4 weeks. Please note that these boxes are printed with Priority Mail, Express Mail, or Global Priority Mail so you wouldn`t be able to use them for other use. Also, the Priority Mail shipping method will offer you a greater selection of boxes as mentioned above.

For the best price in other shipping materials like for first class or ground shipping , I would recommend going down to a office supply warehouse to pick up mailing envelopes, packaging tape, and mailing labels. To bring the cost of your boxes down, try to buy in bundles like 25 or so. You will save alot here instead of buying them individually. Worst case scenario, if you don`t use them all you can use them for your personal use.

I hope this helps. And good luck with selling your micro fiber towels.

    Happy New Year!

Here in Canada, the courrier companies will at least supply you with big envelopes for free. I don`t know about boxes. If you are going to use FedEx or UPS, or someone else like that, check on free shipping supplies. The supplies usually arrive within a few days.
Always do right. This will gratify some people and astonish the rest.

I know, I was just joking about it. Good luck in your efforts to unload them. You might also want to consider flea markets and swap meet type events where you can rent a table or booth and sell them.
