    Hi all,

I`ve been reading this forum a lot for the last year or so. I finally decided on a dewalt 849 and some 3m compound and 3m swirl remover. Attached is a picture of just the trunk of my 98 cobra. I had some minor swirls and a few tiny water spots before. those are toast. i used a yellow pad with the compound, 2 coats of swirl remover with a white pad, and finished with a coat of z2.

I`ll take some picutres of my hood before and after so you can see better results.

Keep up the good work with the forum.

    Great Job!!!

Furthermore, I have just bought a Dewalt DW849 as well. Moreover, I have also decided to get the 3M pads; do to a recent post discussing meguiars and 3M pads and polishes. Also I am getting 3M polishes as well.

    AND.....

Guess who I am going to talk to more since they have the same stuff as me?

Please post some more pictures for me and others to see. I want to see that amazing black shine!

    Keep it up.

    Knight,

I look foward to talking to you about some tricks you have. I`ve always done things by hand and thought buffers were the devil. But i decided to roll the dice on this one. I`m very impressed. I`m hoping to finish the car tonight if I can get clearance from the tower (wife).

    Are you using Zaino also?

After I finish the cobra I`ll be bored and will be looking for another car to do. My truck and the wife`s car are swirl free. I guess I`ll have to start asking the neighbors or something.
