I just wanted to send out a thanks to everyone on the forums for helping me out with detailing my 97 Jetta VR6. Im really happy how the car came out. This car was in bad shape. Swirls, scratches, dull, and was losing its "black" color. This forum has been very helpful and I couldnt do it without it. Thanks again. Here are a few links to my fav pics of how the car turned out. Also the link to my gallery where you can see the end result

    thanks everyone

every product I used was applyed by pc and removed by jt international towels. heres the list

    Exterior:

    gold class car wash

    pinnacle clay and clay lube

    rewashed car

    DACP (CMA yellow pad)

Meguiars Machine Glaze (CMA white pad)

    BF Polish (CMA white pad)

BF Protectant (CMA gray pad) 2x

2 days later rewashed with BF car wash. Applyed 2 more coats of BF Protectant.

    All Black trim:

Meguiars All Purpose Cleaner Plus (trim & tire precleaning)

    Black Again Exterior Trim Restorer

I was very pleased with the combination of the Machine Glaze and BF. Made a big difference. Also I am now a fan of BF products. Very easy on and off cut down on a lot of time. thanks again everyone

Hee hee... For some reason this had me thinking about a new product along the lines of that Griot`s PC clay holder: A chenile sponge with velcro glued to one side. Wash the car by PC! Cut your washing time in half, power through dirt and grime... plus, the velcro back allows for quick sponge removal for easy rinsing/resoaping in the bucket! Tough tar and bugs? Just crank the dial up to "6"!

    Ok, I`ve got some problems...
