Having used Meguiar`s #9 with great success, AIO with excellent results, and S100 giving great depth and shine, it seems like the three products would be a terrific combination. I know there has been some discussion on staying within one manufacturers line, but for me, these three products seem to really stand out.

    Comments?

I say go with what you feel the best is. IMO one should not stay with only one line. Since different lines offer different levels of results, you should use only the best (plus, mixing product lines is how we all discover how to "improve" our results).

I personally use 3M and Meg`s products to prep the car before applying klasse then my choice of carnauba (currently S100 and souvregn).

My personal view on the "stay with one product line" mentality is that it`s too simplistic and limiting. Instead, I think that you should be okay combining anything as long as you know these things :

    a) know what each product really is (sealant? wax? glaze? etc)

    b) know what they contain (cleaners? abrasives? solvents?)

    c) know how to use each product and what its job is

    d) experimentation is half the fun!

    Hope that helps.

Do what makes you happy, staying within one product line only limits what you can achieve.

The only possible issue that I can think of is that #9 and AIO have some overlapping properties in terms of cleaning and polishing. That is not a problem. I have only tried AIO + S100 and it looks and feels great.

#9 would be used only where and when necessary for swirls. Thankfully, I have very few of those. By the end of the winter season, that probably will no longer be true. AIO seems to be an excellent cleaner and prep for about any top coat, both wax and sealants. It might even be acceptable as the only product used.
