I plan on buying some pads for my PC but don`t know which pads to use.

I will need a pad for applying:

    3M SMR

    Z1 + Z2

suggestions please? and where would be the best place to buy everything?

I like the Meguiar`s pads because you can get a three-pack (2 polishing and one finishing) for like $25. Plus, you can probably find them locally.

For SMR, you`d want a polishing pad (they have a little bit of "cut"). If you don`t get the results you want, you may have to try a cutting pad (which has more cut).

For the Z2, you`d want a finishing pad which has no cut.

For the Z1, you could probably use either.

So actually, if you use a polishing pad for the Z1, then the Meguiar`s 3-pack might be perfect. The polishing pads aren`t just for polishes. I use them for all-in-ones like Klasse AIO and Meguiar`s Medallion Protectant.

But this is just my opinion. I`ve never used the CMA pads, but I`m sure they are great too. The Meguiar`s are great and the price is hard to beat (especially with no shipping).

    No shipping via Meguiars website?

Just bought a few "advanced" pads from CMA. I`ll let you know how they do. $77.00 shipped for pads is high IMO. Maybe they are worth it. we`ll see/

Yes, there is shipping through the website. But Meguiar`s pads can be found locally at most Meguiar`s dealers. So you won`t have to have it shipped at all. Meguiar`s dealers are pretty common, so I`ll bet there is one near you. However, the shipping from Meguiar`s site isn`t too bad. It`s basically actual-cost fees.
