Where can I buy a state-of-the-art workbench high chair?

Just like it says.........



I recently bought a cedar workbench from Scottys for $20.00! Some guy there actually put it together. I picked up a Columbian vice from Home Depot at $20.00 too. Now I am looking for a nice, tall, stool/high back chair with a good cushion and a back rest would be icing on the cake. So far I have been to Home Depot, Lowes, Office Max, Office Depot, Walmart, Target, Bed, Bath and Beyond and Sears. I found a descent chair at Target for $59.00 and a really nice dark cedar wooded stool with a comfy cushion at Bed, Bath and Beyond for $59.00. I think a chair without wheels would be better for stability reason when working at the bench.



Any ideas?



Would you stain or paint your workbench or leave it natural?



I`ll post pics when I`m finished with my dream garage.

I don`t know where you live, but do you have an IKEA?

Try places like Northern Tool and Harbor Freight. I bought two cheapo stools from Harbor Frieght for $10 each. Had to assemble them myself and they don`t have a backrest but the price is sure right.



I think Griot`s Garage sells some really nice stools too. Worth checking out.

Try one of those Oak furnature places...the tall stools are much stronger and about the same price. Worth a little more actually.
