First off-good to hear you are o.k. N.Y.D. ...your posts are VERY helpful

Second you are killing me with the offer...I used to live in Staten Island-Dongen Hills-(spelled right?) and most of my family, both Mom and Dad`s side, still live there.

I live in New Mexico, now.

I visit every two of three years-next trip maybe next summer.

Anyway...I wish I could make it...have fun.

Looks like upper 40 degree temperatures on Saturday with a chance of rain in the afternoon. I say let`s go for it before the weather gets too cold! :bounce

ok so it looks like we are on for the 16th, I do not have a problem with this. I do have 2 customers coming as well.

Just want to let everyone know. For those who dont know how to detail, you can watch me in action and learn for your own car. I have a 2001 dodge intrepid white, 2001 BMW M3 blue, the BMW will be coming out picture perfect.

so if you want to do this on sat let do it

I hope you don`t mind if I spend the next few days retro-fitting the inline-six of my BMW to power a weber grill to char up some rib-eyes for the boys while we learn some tricks-o-the trade!

Just has the weather channel on, it shows heavy winds and rain all day saturday and sunday

We may have to check the weather and that day and make all the plans as all detailing will be done outdoors.

so lets see what happends over the next 2 days, hopefully no rain, but lets start thinking of a rain date.

Nice, do you think your PDR guy is going to make. If so, how much a panel do you expect for him to charge. I have 3 panels, and i will bring someone else who has atleast one, so he can have some business

NYD- Hi, I`m in Eatontown, NJ over in Monmouth County and would like to join the event. I just ran into your offer as I had not been keeping up on this site in recent weeks.

Re your signature and 9/11. Also will never forget. I work at Ft Monmouth and we could see the cloud on 9/11 down here, up in SI you are perhaps 10x closer, so I can just imagine. My son graduated college last May and since June has been living and working in NYC, apartment is on John Street two blocks from WTC. At work we are busy getting avionics items out to Army helicopters- Apaches, etc that are in theater or heading in that direction.

OK, this looks good for tomorrow if it does not rain.

The news says we are going to get a Noreaster(spelling).

So this is the plan. Everyone who is planning on coming is to call me at 8am tomorrow @ 917-330-8095

we are going to play this by ear. If it does end up raining we will try for next saturday as this sunday will be raining as well.

If anyone has a digital camcorder please bring it.
