Always do right. This will gratify some people and astonish the rest.

Saturday, Nov. 2nd works for me. What time should everyone meet? :up
I`m in for sure, just that this Sat. it seems that it might rain, or be really cloudy w/ temps in the high 30`s low 40`s, not sure how good for detailing. The week after that seems to be in the 50`s. Either way i`ll be down there, but if the weather is not going to be good this week, next week would be great, pref. sunday but it doesn`t really matter. Also what time, how bout 1 pm ish if this sat.

If it rains we will pick a new date
We need an address (not sure if I missed it in the thread). Also, when you say wash the car, do you mean Dawn or gentle stuff. I have multiple fresh layers of AIO/SG as well as 2 layers of P100. I`d hate to start all over.
************************************************** ** ok, I just got some bad news. I do not think i will be able to hold the help session this weekend.
As some of you already know I have a small heart condition that got worse. It seems I will need to be admitted to the hospital either today, tomorrow or friday for the procedure to be done to me.
They are going to burn a piece of the heart that is making it beat way to fast. What I have is called Atrial Fibluration (A-Fib).
Not sure what is going on, or when they will be doing this. I need to speak with my Dr. to find out what is going on.
I don`t want this, as i just found out they go up through the groin:scared , into the artery and up to the heart. I will keep you posted and let you know when this will happen. It will be done at a heart specialist hospital out in long island.

I`m sorry to hear that. Well, best of luck. Take it easy and get well soon!
Sorry to hear about that. Hope you are going to either St. Francis or Winthrop Hospital on Long Island. They are top notch Long Island Heart Hospitals.
Hope you have a speedy recovery.

That is where i am going, to St. Francis Heart Hospital. They are the top notch of heart hospitals and are rated very high. I have been there before and the staff is great and everything is state of the art.

I`m sure you will be fine. Don`t worry about the groin. Most heart procedures, such as angioplasty, start there. The incision is generally on your leg; the crown jewels are never in jeaporady!

As luck would have it, I`m a cardiac electrophysiologist (a cardiologist who specializes in abnormal heart rhythms). I perform the procedure (ablation) that you mentioned.
Just a few words about atrial fibrillation. The heart has top (atria) and bottom (pumping) chambers that normally work in-sync. When the electical activity of the top chamber becomes chaotic, it is known as atrial fibrillation. As a result, the heart beats irregularly and rapidly.
Treatment goals include 1) slowing the heart rate down, usually with medications 2) protecting against stroke (there is a tendency toward forming blood clots with atial fib) with blood thinners and 3) restoring the heart`s normal rhythm.
Restoring the hearts normal rhythm can be achieved in 2 ways. The first is with medications coupled with a minor procedure called a cardioversion. The second is with the ablation procedure you mentioned. I won`t go into the details, but suffice it to say that the ablation procedure for atrial fibrillation is not a small thing. It is rather complex and of variable success. I would encourage you to have a detailed discussion of all options with your cardiologist.
Good luck with your hospitalization. Hopefully, we`ll be able to have that detailing session sometime in the future.
Sincerely,
Rick Borge
I wish you well. Be sure you check out your Dr thoughly. Just as in any profession. There are good ones and bad ones.
Good Luck!!! I am sure you will be better than new in no time at all.
