Ok, today was the day. I had been planning this for quite some time but I have been to busy to get started. Here was the plan:

    1) wash

    2) clay

    3) FI-II horizontal panels with rotary and cutting Meguiar`s pad

    4) #9 2.0 with rotary and Meguiar`s polishing pad

    5) AIO with PC, white polishing pad

    6) SG

I thought, this is perfect, we`re having a drought so I won`t expect rain and I can drive my freshly detailed car around for at least a week.

I pulled the car out of the garage to wash it, and as I turned on the hose, I got some mean looks from my neighbors. But I went ahead and washed away. Then the clouds came rapidly and within a few minutes, pouring down rain. My plans for the day must be postponed until next weekend.

I hate the drought, but not as much as I hate the rain!

Rain has to be one of the worst things that can happen if you`re going to be detailing a car. I can imagine your neighbors looking at you with the "how dare you" look on their faces, LOL.

I`d rather have it rain than not be able to wash my vehicles..some of our fellow Autopians would love to have the rain so water use restriction can be eased!
