well my dad took his benz in for sevice a few days ago and i guess he asked them to detail it while it was there. Well, they didnt get the swirl marks out, didnt add any, but just made it look a little shinyier.

what should i use to strip off the wax they put on so that i can put some REAL stuff on it?

    1) Do you mean strip off day old wax that has not been buffed out? (example: caked on wax)

    2) Or do you mean wax that was applied a day earlier and removed.

    1a) Buff it out ASAP!

2a) Dawn wash is the best for removing old wax!

but the wax is like brand new. dawn is really meant for stripping off all the "old wax".
