    what is the "autopian approved" cheap, over the counter (no mail order), synthetic (no carnuba), QD?

    Well, I don`t know about "autopian approved", but my favorite "easiest to come by" QD is Meguiars FI.

    FI is a good one. I believe that is the Autopian QD of choice. The original Meguiar`s QD is what I started using first to help buff off SG. I still use it for that purpose too. Its nice.

    Eagle One Wet Wipe N` Shine. Those who have tried both this and FI seem to prefer EO.

    Mothers for me. It contains no Carnaubas, and it won`t streak like FI. EO is also a good product but the Mothers leaves a slicker shine.
