I`ve tried both and seem to like the foam pad better. I`ve used the foam pad for SG only so far. Not sure if its good for using AIO. Shouldn`t the MF applicators be used for AIO for cleaning rather than the foam? What applicators do you guys prefer for aio and sg?

I use MF for AIO, foam for SG. But I wouldn`t hesitate using MF for SG, but probably wouldn`t use foam for AIO because MF holds moisture better and helps pick up dirt.

I prefer foam for both. I`m not crazy about the uneven texture MF apps get after doing a few panels. Sure, you can rinse the entire app after each panel....but what a PITA.

MF apps also require a lot more effort as they tend to grab your paint surface when applying product....especially with AIO where you apply a little more pressure than KSG.

I agree with Intermezzo. I use foam for both products and never had a problem. When your all finished the foam applicators are much easier to clean as well. :up

I`ve asked this question before but no one answered.

I use MF applicators for everything.

The thought of using one of those plastic foam applicators scares me. It really looks like it will scratch the paint. I`ve never had the guts to try one.

Has anyone experienced scratches from their foam pads?

I`ve had thoughts about foam pads, as well, but felt that they might scratch (especially if there was a stray piece of dirt picked up by accident).

I`ve stuck with the supplied mf covered foam pads that I got with my Klasse Concours kit and like them a lot. I find that they are just as easy to wash as mf towels.
