I thought I would share some pics of my car.

    Escort RS Cosworth Lux 1993.

Its a Pearlcesent Pacifica Blue. I use a no-name generic polymer based sealant topped off with Mother`s Pure Gold Carnuba.

The pearl has not come out in the pictures, but the car can appear anything from purple to very dark blue depending on the angle of the sun!!!

    Enjoy,

    Tarkan

Magnificent. Simply magnificent. Your car is gut-wrenchingly beautiful. The detailing is also perfect. The depth and shine are incredible. WOW!

I like the hood vents. The wing is a little too much for me but around here you would get more praise than anything for that setup.

I always did like the Cosworth`s. Your car looks awesome. I just love that blue. What is the name of that generic sealant.

Joed: The car came from the factory with the wing and hood vents.

I`m jealous . . . the rest of the world gets so many cool cars that never make it to the US.

    Thanks guys!!

edschwab1 : The I call it generic because I buy it in a plain 5litre can from a small shop which supplies and mixes car paints. The label on the can says :- Grade `A` Car Polish. The thing is just amazing it removes and hides servere swirlmarks, it polishes crap and dirt out of the paint and on top of all that it leaves sealant behind which last a serious amount of time.

Another thing I have noticed since joining Autopia, Bird Crap - I have had bird crap sit on my car for days on end till I could wash it at the weekend and never seen any blemishes or etching, so either our birds crap is different from american bird crap or this stuff I use is totally amazing at protecting the paint.

Other good things, I use it to polish all lights and it also polishes up the black rubber trim, basically the whole of the exterior of the car.

Finally once you`ve got a coat on paint is so slick that dirt just does not bond to the car, even which has been left sitting on the car just sits on the surface!! Totally Amazing!!

I`d really like other people to try this product out, being in the UK I have not tried Klasse, P21S, Platinum or any other raved about product here, so it would be nice to get some feedback on how it compares to these products.

If anyone is willing to cover my costs I don`t mind shipping 4oz or so to them to try out!!

    regards,

    Tarkan
