How do I remove the very sticky residue from the inside of the back window. The previous owner has tinted the windows and I`m afraid to use `goo be gone`, or something else, unless the autopia expects give their OK. It probably does not matter but the car is a Lexus SC300. Thanks in advance

It`s glass so most anything will work fine. Goo Gone, 3M adhesive remover, rubbing alcohol, etc. As long as you are not using it on film window tint you should not have any problems.

That is my problem. The residue from the temp tag is on the window tint which seems to be a plastic coating.

I would be quite careful using Goo-Gone, Goof Off, or other products of the sort. Depending on the type of material the tint is made from, you may melt it using the stuff.

Before you engage in this endeavor, I would suggest you visit another forum, TintDude and search around - or post to their forum. The group there seems quite informed and knowledgable about such problems.
