    As the title states or vice versa? I was just sitting here looking at the bottle thinking about how I can`t wait to use it on my car once my PC gets here and this question just popped into my head.:nixweiss

    This is the reply I got from 3M:



    Yes, the product for dark cars will work on light cars. The only issue is that if there is any residue that remains in any fine scratces or crevices,

    it will stand out and not look very good. Washing the vehicle should

    remove the residue.
