What is the difference in these products? I have been using IHG by hand on my black car, with good results, but still have some swirl marks.

I`d heard somewhere that one of the other products (SMR or Perfect-it) was just a consumer version of IHG.

Looking for feedback before I invest in another swirl mark remover.

    thanks!

ps also considering the Klasse duo instead of the 3M products.

Three totally different products. Check out www.3m.com for more info on 3M products.

IHG is rich in oils and fillers and will "hide" swirls but will never remove them. It is quite temporary.

SMR is an abrasive (of which there are many variations) and these are made to flatten the surface and remove the swirls. It is permanent.

Do a search and you will find tons of info on these products here.
