How do you clean and protect the trim around the windows on the doors and the roof rack? Would a trim restorer work or PPCL?

How do you clean the plastic center cap from the wheels? I was thinking of using an old wash mitts with car wash?

How do you clean and protect the factory running boards? 303 or Viylex?

I wish it would stop raining here. I probably will not get to this until next weekend, due to the weather forcast and work schedule. When this is finished I need to find another car to detail. I think I have one or two in mind.

I personally use Meguiars GC High Endurance on all black trim, but on some running boards it can become slippery, so be careful on how much you put on, and I suggest you wipe w/ a clean rag once applied. The Meg`s lasts a long time and looks great too. Be careful around windows.

Meguiar`s Gold Class Trim Detailer is what I use on our cars, including the same type window trim on my wife`s 2002 Escape. I also use it on every part of the running boards except the parts you catually step on - too slippeery. ON those I use a scrub briash and try and clean as best I can.
