    Hello all,

Being part of a nationwide Toyota Tacoma Off-Road club, i have gotten my front bumper valance pretty dirty as well as scratched(gouged in some spots:doh )

Im looking for suggestions on what to use to clean dress it to get back some of the blackness/shine. I did a search but to no avail.

Im looking mainly for local store bought items.

One other thing, the valance is not painted and is textured, so that might need other products besides my 303.

    Thanks in advance guys.

I like to use the 303, it leaves a nice clean matte finish and seems to last for a while. :up

Well I have 303 to dress it afterwards(actually I might not want to use such an expensive product just for the bumper valance) but I need something to clean it with first? don`t you clean before you apply 303?

Yes I clean it before I apply 303. Forgot to say that, sorry.

Depends on how dirty, if its not that bad then just warm soapy dawn water or for really bad an all purpose cleaner by Mequiar`s.

It`s just molded plastic, right? More like a trim piece or a type of air dam? On plastic like that I use EFHI but most any all-purpose cleaner can be used (Simple Green, 409, all those orange products, etc). Use a stiff brush or scrub pad and go to town.
There are only three things you need to know about me. Gloss, Gloss, GLOSS!!

I was hoping you would chime in. You`ve been pretty helpful since I`ve signed on here. My name is Brett by the way.

About the plastic valance, yeah i guess you would call is molded plastic.

Go to my pictures hereand click on Tacoma Pics, you should be able to see the lower front bumper valance)
