So I finally finish the spring cleaning and am driving down some highway and WHAM! a bird slams into my windshield right at the top where it meets the roof.

So I get home and am cleaning feathers and other bird-like substances off the windshield and roof - no scratches. And no, I don`t know what happened to the bird. It happened so fast I didn`t see him in the rear view.

Bottomline. SG/Souveran protects well against bird droppings and birds themselves!

Several years ago, I was the front seat passenger in an Audi 5000 heading down the Autobahn at 205 kph. We hit a duck at the center top of the windshield. The windshield deflected enough to pop the rearview mirror off the fitting and into my lap.

Man, that car was an absolute mess. Feathers and blood and guts everywhere.

Q: What was the last thing that went through that duck`s brain?

    A: It`s a$$.

I noticed Klasse works best for bird droppings. I recently did my car with Blackfire, and the acids seem to penetrate right through to the finish. I`ll be going back to the Klasse twins soon.

I hit a turkey years ago on the Techonic (sp?) Parkway in upstate New York, man what a mess it destroyed the windshield. I was real lucky though that it hit the passenger side window, did not hit the front of the car or the roof line. A twenty pound bird would do a lot of damage! As it ended up I only had to replace the windshield and clean a lot of galss out of the enterior. It`s still the same M3 I have today.

When you get hit by a bird bomber (instead of a bird bomb) you just need to step up to the gallon jugs of QD spray....simply adapt !!
